    Sand and gravel crushers are primarily used to crush materials of varying hardness, such as pebbles and sand. Whether dealing with soft sand and gravel or hard river pebbles and granite, shaping and crushing these materials with a sand and gravel crusher is a breeze. However, no machine is indestructible, After a period of use, sand and gravel crushers will gradually wear out and develop various malfunctions. To ensure the continuous and normal operation of the sand and gravel crusher and maximize its production capacity, customers should carefully maintain the equipment and avoid negligence. Proper operation is one of the key factors for the sustained and normal operation of the sand and gravel crusher. Proper operation, frequent maintenance, and timely inspections can effectively extend the service life of the sand and gravel crusher. Operational errors or carelessness during the process often lead to mechanical failures and personal injury. Proper operation must strictly follow the prescribed operating procedures.     1. Shut down the machine at scheduled intervals to inspect the internal wear of the sand-making machine through the inspection door. If wear is detected on the impeller body, replace it immediately or contact the manufacturer for repairs. It is especially important to note that you must not fabricate impellers on your own without the manufacturer’s consent; otherwise, you will be solely responsible for any consequences.   2. The sand-making machine uses Mobil automotive lubricating oil (Premium Grade) or No. 3 lithium-based grease. Add an appropriate amount of lubricant every 400 hours of operation. Clean the bearings of the main shaft assembly after 2,000 hours of operation. Typically, after 7,200 hours of operation, adjust the bearings. The upper bearing of the main shaft assembly is the floating end, and the lower bearing is the fixed end. After installation, manually rotate the pulley; it should turn smoothly.     3. The tension of the drive V-belts should be adjusted appropriately to ensure even force distribution. When using dual motors, the V-belts on both sides should be grouped and matched so that the length of each group is as consistent as possible. Adjust the system so that the current difference between the two motors does not exceed 1.   4. During operation of the sand and gravel sand-making machine, as this is high-speed machinery, special attention must be paid to safety. Personnel should keep a safe distance from the machine. If repairs are required, they must be performed after the machine has been shut down. Note that if the machine stops suddenly due to a malfunction, before restarting after the issue has been resolved, the stones compressed within the crushing chamber must be cleared before operation is permitted.
